Underwater Navigation

During this course, you will learn various ways to navigate underwater including some fun ways to increase your navigational ability once you finish the course. You will start with the most basic method, which is natural navigation. Next, you will learn compass navigation, starting with simple straight line courses and finishing with multiple heading courses. Then you will combine both natural and compass navigation. Finally you will learn about dead reckoning and plotting a body of water.

The course consists of one classroom session and two dives. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible for an SSI Navigation Certification!
