The first step in diving from boats is selecting one. Boats come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, styles, and prices. There are boats you live on, boats you spend the entire day on and boats that shuttle you to the dive site and back. Some cater to beginning divers, others to advanced divers. Most differ by the services they offer and the areas they dive. Selecting a boat is a matter of determining the type of diving you want to do and finding one that meets your needs.
