Diving offers a lifetime of exciting adventure and the ideal way to begin that adventure is with SSI's Open Water Diver course. Under the guidance of a professional SSI Instructor from Ocean Sports, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of underwater exploration.

Learning to Scuba Dive is the key that will open doors to endless adventures.  In the state of Florida we have the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, many beautiful springs and rivers to explore.  This by far is the best state to dive in and it is in our own backyard. In this course you will learn the basic skills that will lead you to a lifetime of fun for you, your family and friends.  It is a great way to meet new friends as well.  It is very educational for the kids, and everyone can learn about our underwater  environment.  Some of the interests our group participates is Fossil diving, wreck diving, Fish identifications, spring diving, spearfishing, and being able to explore the reefs of the world.  And there is so much more.  Join us in the fun and adventures. 

Skills You Will Learn:
In multiple pool and open water sessions, you will practice scuba skills with SSI's exclusive Comfort Through Repetition teaching method.

Scuba Equipment:
Scuba eqiupment rental is include in the price. You must provide your own snorkeling equipment. Ocean Sports can help you select the the gear that best suits your needs.
